What should I wear?
This is probably my number one questions I address during my pre-session consultations. I LOVE being able to assist in styling your session. First, go visit my pinterest board that I have dedicated to styling your session! When preparing for a session be yourself and be comfortable! Don’t be scared to keep it simple or to spice it up with bold colors. Feel free to bring a change of clothes as well.
Do you have props?
Yes, yes and YES! I have more props than my little heart knows what to do with! They are available for any and all sessions. You are more than welcome to bring something that is special to your family (in fact, I encourage it!) for any session!
Do you have your own studio?
Yes! I have a studio in my home that will meet all the needs or your session. Check it out here! I also shoot on location. A majority of family sessions are held at an outdoor location.
When should I have my maternity session?
When your belly grows toes. 🙂 Maternity sessions are best done between the 32 weeks and 36 weeks but ever momma is a little different. If you feel like your belly is where you want it be for photos then we can definitely get you scheduled for your session.
When should I have my newborn’s pictures done?
These are best done between 3 and 13 days old. I want to capture the peacefulness and calm of your newborn. Newborns curl easily and won’t stir as easily when being posed. Please contact me prior to your due date to tentatively book a session and once your baby arrives,we will finalize a newborn session date.
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, checks, credit cards or Paypal.
Can I make payments?
Yes! We can set up a payment arrangement that meets your needs.
How many proofs will there be?
Depending on the session you will have up to 30 or more proofs. Mini sessions will vary and will be stated in the advertisement for the session. Different time allotments will have different amount of proofs.
When will I get to see the photographs?
Within approximately 1-2 weeks from the session date your images will be ready for your viewing/ordering session. We will set this appointment after your session.
When will I have the prints?
Standard prints will be available for within 7-10 days of payment. Canvases and specialty items may take a couple days longer.
How many people can participate in my photo session?
Sessions are typically for your immediate family (i.e. Parents and Kids). Extended family is more than welcome at your session, I just ask that you let me know in advance. I do not charge extra for family members but I do want to be prepared with the correct gear and props.
Can I bring my camera?
Sure! I just ask that you don’t get in front of me while I’m trying to work my magic.
