Picking a photographer can be such an overwhelming task. There are SO many out there and we all operate a little differently. If you are reading this I just want to say THANK YOU for even considering me for this special time in your life.
Your experience with Monica Ebert Photography should be stress free while creating the lasting moments in your life. I will be by your side from picking your outfits to having your products delivered to your front door.
Booking your session:
To book a session you can click on the schedule a session tab here, email me at info@monicaephotography.com or call me at 704-743-4080. I will then email you the agreement forms and invoice for your session. Your fee must be paid in order to secure your session.
Newborn sessions normally start around 9:45am. All outdoor sessions are either in the early morning hours or early evening hours (time depends on the time of year). We will figure out a time that best works for you.
Before your session:
Once your session is booked, I will send you a questionnaire (online) to fill out. It is very important that you fill it out completely and honestly. This helps me prepare and coordinate for your session. It is so important that you answer these questions the best you can. After I get this back, we will chat about your expectations and goals for your shoot. This doesn’t normally take very long and it can be done over the phone/email if need be. Please check out my FAQs for information on what to wear.
During your session:
The FUN part!! All your hard work is finally about to pay off. Please don’t stress! I will arrive a little early to either set up or scope out the location. If you have booked a newborn session then I am most likely coming to you and can just sit back and take a little nap. If we are doing an on location shoot then I will be at the location early to ensure all my spots I picked out are still ready to go. I will do all posed shots first (before any one gets dirty) and then we will go in to more of a in the moment type shots. I can’t say it enough… Please don’t stress. Just relax, enjoy the time with your family and have fun.
After your session:
About 1-2 days after your session I will normally post a sneak peek to either Facebook or Instagram. From there I go through sessions in the order that I shot them. Most galleries are completed within 2 weeks. During this time we will schedule your in person viewing and ordering appointment. You will be able to see all your photos during this time and place your order. Once your order is place most products are delivered to you within 1 week.
